Last updated July 22, 2026. What follows is the agreement between you and WristGeek whenever you browse wristgeek.com, place an order, or send us a watch. Read it before you buy — using the site means you accept it.
WristGeek is a collector-facing retailer of pre-owned and unworn wristwatches, straps and accessories, run out of Los Angeles and operated from the address at the foot of this page. We are the seller of record on every listing on this site — nothing here is a marketplace listing posted by a third party, and no other party takes your payment.
We hold no authorized-dealer appointment from any watchmaker. WristGeek is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Panerai, or any other maker whose products appear on this site. Where we print a maker’s name, a collection name or a reference number, we do it to identify the object in front of you. Every trademark, and every right in the manufacturers’ own product photography, stays with whoever owns it.
We catalogue by reference number and record case size, metal, dial, bracelet, movement and the box-and-papers position as we find them on the watch itself. We aim to get every field right; occasionally we will not. A listing is our invitation for you to make an offer, not a binding offer from us, and a published price or availability can change before you order. Where a specification matters to your decision — a service history, a bezel insert, a caseback engraving, a lume shade — ask us to confirm it in writing first, and we will.
Listings that show two figures show a bank-wire figure and a card figure; the difference is the card processing cost, ordinarily around 3.5%, and the wire figure applies only to a completed wire. Card payments are captured by our payment processor, Stripe, and other methods appear at checkout where we offer them. On higher-value references we may confirm your identity, match billing to shipping, or release only to the billing address before the watch leaves us. Sales tax is computed at checkout where it is due. Ownership transfers to you when your funds have fully cleared, not when the order is placed.
Each watch passes through our specialists and is verified before it is packed. Absent an explicit statement otherwise, what you are buying is pre-owned or unworn, and any coverage on it comes from us rather than from the manufacturer — we do not promise that a factory warranty survives, transfers, or will be honoured. Condition grading, and the presence or absence of the original box and papers, is stated on the listing.
Anything at or above $1,000 ships at our cost. Every parcel travels insured and requires a signature; the specifics live on our Shipping & Delivery page. Our Returns & Exchanges page forms part of this agreement — the short version is that an approved, unworn watch coming back to us in the condition it left, within seven days of delivery, is refunded to the method you paid with, and we will exchange instead if you prefer.
Any number we quote before we have the watch in hand is an estimate. The figure becomes firm once our watchmakers have physically examined and authenticated it, and not before. Trade-in value is applied at checkout as a post-tax payment line rather than as a discount to the pre-tax price. By sending us a watch you confirm it is lawfully yours, carries no lien or finance agreement, and is as you described it.
Do not feed us false information, scrape or republish our catalogue commercially, infringe anyone’s rights through this site, or probe, disrupt or attempt to reach parts of our systems that are not open to you. What we publish here is for your own personal, non-commercial use.
The site itself comes as it is. So far as the law permits, implied warranties we have not written down here are excluded, and whatever we owe you arising out of any one transaction is capped at what you actually paid us for the watch in question. Nothing in this paragraph cuts down a liability that cannot lawfully be cut down, and your statutory rights as a consumer survive it intact.
California law governs this agreement, conflict-of-law rules aside. Disputes belong to the state and federal courts sitting in Los Angeles County, California, and both of us submit to them, except where some other law requires otherwise.
These terms change from time to time; the date at the top is always the version in force, and continuing to use the site after a change means you have accepted it. Questions go to [email protected], or call (213) 622-5933.
